We wish you a warm welcome to Hotel Nestor and Restaurant Back Pocket. We are located in the beautiful village of Österreteis on the island of Korpo in the Finnish archipelago. We offer a cosy and romantic rural stay combined with a unique fine dining experience.

Then, being received at the farmhouse by the host, warmly welcomed and "up"- shown to the second floor! Three courses served at a leisurely pace with filling stories about food and "tourist information"! Then wood-fired sauna lit with wax candles . Prepared superbly!
And as a "knorr" in the evening before my tourists!
Have to call the ferry to get home!

Saariston timantti 💎. Upea boutique hotelli kauniissa saaristomiljöössä. Ruoka aivan uskomattoman hyvää ja palvelu ystävällistä. Oikein hieno, pieni hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla Saaristotien varrella. Ravintola aivan omaa luokkaansa; maistelumenu satokauden ja päivän mukaan vaihtelevista raaka-aineista on kekseliäs, erittäin maukas ja huolella valmistettu. Palvelu on henkilökohtaista ja erittäin ystävällistä. Ravintolalle antaisin tähtiä reilusti viittä enemmän, jos olisi mahdollista. Hotellilla on myös oma laituri, eli veneelläkin saapuminen onnistuu.

Great hotel in the countryside. Beautiful environment, family-owened and warm service. We went cycling, enjoyed the spring and had a late sauna - Tupsahdimme Länsi-Suomen kaupungeista, Tampereen, Porin ja Turun työvilinästä yöksi vaihteeksi viehättävään saaristopitäjään, Korppooseen. Hotelli Nestorin väki neuvoi pyöräreitit, lämmitti saunan ja teki kivan iltapalan. Suosittelen tätä paikkaa 😊.

Tyylikäs, hyvin pidetty hotelli keskellä kaunista maalaismaisemaa. Olimme matkalla Kaarinasta Ahvenanmaalle julkisilla ja pysähdyimme täällä yön yli. Bussipysäkki oli aivan hotellin lähellä. Huoneet olivat esteettisiä mutta ilmastoimattomia. Kuumuuden vuoksi nukkuminen ei onnistunut kovin hyvin. Aamiainen ei ollut runsas, mutta kaikki mitä oli tarjolla, oli hyvin laadukasta.

A very special place with a unique spirit - we had the spacious "Siska" room and were extremely satisfied. The Barefoot Path (Finnish Paljasjalkapolku) with its unexpectedly beautiful natural artefacts in the forest is recommended. Don't forget to visit "Nestor Beach", 900 metres away (it's actually "just" a long jetty on a rocky beach)! The restaurant is also highly recommended, except that the sauna and jacuzzi combination, which can be hired for a private hour, is a little overpriced at €100. Nevertheless, the prices are reasonable and the Nestor is a place we will gladly return to.

Ihana hotelli ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Huone and hotelli siistejä sekä aamupala maittava. Pyörän sai sisälle lukkojen taakse sekä aamupalalla tarjottiin hyvä gluteeniton vaihtoehto. Huone oli kuuma tuulettimesta huolimatta. Ikkunaa joutui pitämään auki ja joku kävi tupakalla ikkunan alapuolella - hajut tuli sisälle. Tupakoitsijat voisi ohjeistaa toisaalle. Erinomainen pieni hotelli Korppoon peltomaisemissa, muutaman sadan metrin päässä meren rannasta. Vanhaan navettaan rakennettu ruokasali, jonka kiviseinät huokuvat historiaa positiivisella tavalla. Vaikka rakennus on pohjaltaan vanha on se kuitenkin tuotu nykyaikaan kaikkine mukavuuksineenen.Hotellila hyvällä maulla remontoidut huoneet, joissa panostettu laadukkuuteen sekä viihtyisyyteen. At the end of the season I was the only guest in the hotel. Huone oli siisti ja lämmin. Sain aamupalan huoneen jääkaappiin ja kahvi oli aamulla valmiiksi laitettu, koska jouduin lähtemään niin aikaisin. Huomasin aamulla huoneesta poistuessani myös ilokseni, että kaikki väliovet oli suljettu, joka on paloturvallisuuden kannalta olennaista :)

We came all the way from South-Africa to get engaged in Finland, and it could not have been more perfect. Finland has always held a special place in my husband's ’heart, as he once worked here as a student, so when we booked Hotel Nestor we just knew this would be the place where he would put the ring on my finger.The room was beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. Traveling from SA with a ZAR budget in Europe isn’t always easy, but the team truly accommodated us. For our engagement dinner, they kindly offered to shorten the 9-course menu into a 4-course menu so we could still experience their cuisine within our S.A budget.And what an experience it was! The food was out of this world — every dish beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We still talk about that dinner to this day.This charming boutique Hotel and its incredible team made our engagement evening unforgettable. We even got served by the sweetest and most beautiful young lady who made us feel so at home.We will always remember Hotel Nestor with the fondest of memories and will always be part of our love story... ❤Warm regardsEllie & Francois

From Turku
You will find us about 70 km from Turku. Drive from Turku through Pargas and take the ferry over to Nagu. Drive across Nagu and take the ferry over to Korpo. You can use the ferries for free, and they travel every 15 minutes during the summer season. You can find the ferry schedules here.
From Nagu
If you’re coming from Nagu, take the ferry over to Korpo and keep driving along Skärgårdsvägen about 2,5 km. Turn to your right at Österretais bus stop and follow the path for an additional 500 meters until you reach the hotel.
From Galtby
If you’re travelling from Galtby (Åland, Houtskär, Norrskata…) drive towards Turku for about 5 km and make a left turn at the Österretais village. Follow the path for about 500 meters until you reach the hotel.
